The formation lap is nearing its end. With a gentle press on the throttle and one final aggressive steering maneuver left to right, you work to keep your tires at optimal temperature. You understand this is crucial for maximizing speed through Turn 1 – potentially securing a strong start to overtake the Formula cars ahead, already positioned at their grid slots.

Ease off the accelerator and focus on aligning with your grid's yellow marker. Applying precise brake pressure, you edge forward to the regulation limit, perfectly positioning your front wing against the white starting line.

Now you engage the steering wheel paddles to disengage the clutch, shifting from 2nd to 1st gear. Your Formula car comes to a complete standstill.

The first red light illuminates. You've practiced this countless times. Your right foot maintains gentle pressure on the accelerator.
