BarbarQ is a casual multiplayer, real-time battle arena and battle royale game where you battle opponents in an arena to prove you're the best. It features addictive, innovative gameplay with a charming pixel art retro style. By blending elements of MOBA and IO games, it creates a uniquely thrilling experience.

The game includes a leveling system where you gain a new skill each time you level up (up to 5 skills per match). These skills are permanent for that match, so choose wisely! In BarbarQ, raw level isn't everything—teamwork, item usage, dodging, and skill choices can completely turn the tide of battle.

Eating mushrooms grants experience to level up and unlock new skills as a match progresses. As players grow stronger, they also become physically larger and gain new abilities to fend off rivals, though their size makes them a bigger target. Players take on the role of barbarians whose main goals are clobbering each other and eating mushrooms. The arena also contains collectible items like bombs, honey, meat, and other random boosts.

Like other IO-style games, levels and items reset after each match. However, players earn gold to permanently upgrade skills and acquire pets that provide combat advantages. BarbarQ offers various modes including real-time 3v3v3 and 2v2v2 team fights, Idle mode, Pet Adventure, and several solo modes.
