Buraco is a Rummy-style card game that originates from the Canasta family. The main objective is to meld combinations of cards of the same rank and/or sequences of the same suit. When players create combinations of seven cards or more, these are referred to as Buracos.

This game is typically played with four players in teams, although it can also be enjoyed in a one-on-one format.
