CS16Client, utilizing the Xash3D FWGS engine, provides a standalone version of Counter-Strike 1.6. Crucially, this game does not include game data. You must obtain this from your legally licensed copy of Counter-Strike 1.6.

To begin playing, follow these steps:

  1. Install both Xash3D FWGS and CS16Client.
  2. Install a licensed version of Counter-Strike 1.6 on your PC via Steam. (This is essential for proper CS16Client functionality.)
  3. Create a folder named "xash" in your Android device's internal storage.
  4. Copy the "cstrike" and "valve" folders from your PC's Counter-Strike 1.6 installation into the newly created "xash" folder.
  5. Upon initial launch, the game will prompt you to specify the location of the "xash" folder. Select the folder you just created.
  6. Start playing!
