The FreeStyle LibreLink app is officially approved for use with both the FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors. With this app, you can conveniently monitor your glucose levels by simply scanning your sensor using your smartphone. If you're using the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor, the app offers the added benefit of automatic glucose readings updated every minute, along with alarms to alert you of low or high blood sugar levels.

The FreeStyle LibreLink app allows you to:

• View your current glucose result, trend arrow, and glucose history
• Receive low or high glucose alarms when using FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors
• Access detailed reports, including time spent in target range and daily trends
• Share your data, with your consent, with your doctor and family

Compatibility with Smartphones

Using Your App and Reader with the Same Sensor

For FreeStyle Libre 2 users, alarms can be set up either on your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or your smartphone, but not on both simultaneously. To receive alarms on your phone, you must start the sensor using the app. Conversely, to receive alarms on your reader, you need to start the sensor with the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader. Once the sensor is activated with the reader, you can still scan it with your phone.

Remember, the app and the reader do not share data. To ensure comprehensive data collection, scan your sensor every 8 hours with the device you're using. This ensures that your reports include all relevant data. You can upload and view data from all your devices on LibreView.com.
