Hazari Card Game Points System

Understanding the scoring system is key to mastering Hazari. Here's how the points are assigned:

Cards A, K, Q, J, 10 – Each worth 10 points
Cards 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 – Each worth 5 points

Card Arrangement in Hazari

At the start of each round, every player receives 13 cards. These cards must be arranged strategically in the following format:

Three sets of 3 cards
One final set of 4 cards

The gameplay focuses on comparing the strength of 3-card combinations. The ranking of combinations, from highest to lowest, is as follows:

Troy – Three cards of the same rank (e.g., 8-8-8)
Colour Run – Three consecutive cards of the same suit (e.g., 4♠-5♠-6♠)
Run – Three consecutive cards of mixed suits (e.g., 4♠-5♥-6♦)
Colour – Three non-consecutive cards of the same suit (e.g., 3♣-7♣-J♣)
Pair – Two cards of the same rank (e.g., K-K-5)
Indie – Any single card with no specific combination
