Andersen Children and Youth Hospital at Odense University Hospital, alongside hospitalized children, their families, and 10:30 Visual Communication. This resource is designed as patient information specifically for children aged 4-7 years, with the goal of preparing them and reducing their anxiety when faced with unfamiliar hospital terminology.

"HC And - When Mother or Father Has Cancer" serves as an introductory guide to the general cancer patient journey at the hospital, tailored for the youngest children, their families, and friends. The content is delivered through a child's voice and animated in a "Learning through play" format, accessible on tablets, mobile phones, or touch screens.

Children in this age group learn best through play and concrete information. As relatives of cancer patients, they can quickly become overwhelmed with information.
