To enjoy the vibrant quiz game, Knowledge is Power: Decades, on your PlayStation®4, you'll need the companion app. As of the announcement on December 14, 2023, here's what you should know about the app's availability:

For Android users: If you've already downloaded the companion app or it's in your library, you can continue playing Knowledge is Power: Decades. However, the app is no longer available for download from the Google Play Store on devices running Android OS versions newer than Android 11. Make sure to keep your current app updated to ensure uninterrupted gameplay.

For Apple iOS users: You're in luck! Regardless of your iOS version, you can continue using the companion app to play the game.

With the companion app, dive into a thrilling quiz experience testing your trivia knowledge across decades from the '80s to the '10s. Use your smartphone as a controller to compete with up to five other players. Be quick to answer questions, strategically use Power Plays to gain an advantage, and engage in touch screen Challenges to climb the Pyramid of Knowledge.

To get started, ensure your PlayStation®4 system and your mobile device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Follow the in-app instructions to connect and start playing. With the app, you can:

Pick your character and take a selfie with fun filters.
Answer quiz questions privately.
Select Power Plays to slow down rivals.
Engage in various touch screen Challenges.
Play 'Quiz Blast' on the go and challenge friends to beat your time.
