The rules of Mau Mau are detailed within the app and also available at https://mauking.com/pravila-igre-mau-mau. Here's a quick reminder to ensure you're familiar with the gameplay:

The game begins with one card on the table and each player holding six cards.
The first player to discard all their cards wins.
On your turn, play a card that matches the top card on the table by number or suit.
If you can't play a matching card, draw one from the deck. If it still doesn't match, click "Pass".
Before playing your second-to-last card, click the "Hand" button to signal to others that you're close to winning. This will show a raised hand icon next to your avatar.

Special cards add an exciting twist to the game:

The Jack can be played on any card except another Jack. Upon playing it, you choose the suit for the next player.
The Eight skips the next player's turn.
The Seven forces the next player to draw two cards, unless they play another Seven, passing the penalty along.
The Queen reverses the direction of play.
Playing an Ace allows you to take another turn, meaning you can't win with an Ace as you must play again afterward.
The Two of Clubs compels the next player to draw four cards.
