In *Echoes of Dissent*, Merlin ventures to Brimstone Village to investigate rising unrest. What starts as a simple inquiry quickly spirals into a dire situation as the elven underground kingdom of Sal'Thorin faces a critical shortage of divine dew—an essential resource that, without it, causes its people to transform into monstrous creatures.
To help navigate this crisis, two powerful allies join the fray. First up is Zanie, a dwarvish inventor whose mechanical ingenuity brings unique tactical advantages to your team. Then there's Indris, the conflicted captain of the Sal'Thorin Guard, who may soon find himself siding with Merlin and the resistance.
**Dwarves are natural sprinters, very dangerous over short distances.** While some players might have hoped for a purely dwarven narrative arc, the inclusion of elven lore doesn't detract from the sheer volume of content packed into this update. Alongside Zanie and Indris, you’ll also meet Valara, Daimon, and Kulu—three new characters set to spice up your team composition and strategy.
One of the biggest highlights of this season is the arrival of the 1v1 elimination mode, *Sunlit Showdown*.
