Time-Shattered Holmes & Watson Return in No Game Spinoff

Authore: ConnorUpdate:Dec 17,2025

  • Crushed in Time is the latest spin-off from the universe of There Is No Game.
  • Draw Me a Pixel reunites Holmes and Watson for a delightfully absurd new adventure.
  • Solve a point-and-click puzzle adventure that transports you through various stages of a game’s development cycle.

Longtime readers will likely remember our previous coverage of the comedic point-and-click adventure There Is No Game. It recently appeared as a free title on the Epic Games Store, and now we have a new spin-off, Crushed in Time, to anticipate.

It’s challenging to describe the creations of developer Draw Me a Pixel—as Stephen noted, they represent “quirkiness of the highest order.” However, Crushed in Time seems to adopt a slightly more straightforward approach, or at the very least, a less mind-bending experience than playing a game that technically isn't a game.

In Crushed in Time, Holmes and Watson make a return after their brief appearance in one segment of There Is No Game. This time, the duo is tasked with investigating the entire development process of their own release, jumping between various stages of production.

What's your mission? Locate a missing character from the recently launched game to restore order—but given that this is a Draw Me a Pixel project, don't expect a straightforward path. Nevertheless, the experience promises to be just as entertaining.

Crushed in Time retains the same point-and-click adventure gameplay as the original There Is No Game. However, instead of the classic "combine items from your inventory" style, you'll discover new ways to interact with objects and solve puzzles more intuitively.

Scheduled for release in 2026 on mobile and PC, Crushed in Time is sure to deliver the same whimsical charm as its predecessor—if not more.
