Disney has recently announced thrilling new details about the upcoming event, Destination D23: A Journey Around the Worlds of Disney, and revealed that tickets will be available starting April 14, 2025. This highly anticipated event will take place at Walt Disney World's Coronado Springs Resort from August 29 to 31. Attendees can look forward to an immersive experience filled with exclusive presentations from the Walt Disney Archives and Walt Disney Studios, alongside spectacular entertainment and sneak peeks into the diverse worlds of Disney. The event promises a variety of unique interactive activations and shopping experiences that are sure to delight fans of all ages.
To secure your tickets, you must be a D23 Gold Member by the time they go on sale on April 14 at 10 am PT/1 pm ET. The lowest tier of D23 Gold Membership is priced at $49.99 per year and offers a wealth of additional perks, including access to other exclusive events and special merchandise. General admission tickets for the event will be $299, with a limited number of Preferred ($549) and Premiere ($799) tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis. These tickets will include access to dedicated queues for reserved seating areas, and D23 Gold Members can purchase a ticket for themselves and one guest.
The event will feature over 25 specially curated presentations from across The Walt Disney Company. While specific details about the presentations are still forthcoming, attendees can anticipate an exclusive D23 Shopping Spree experience. The best merchandise will be available at The Walt Disney Company Store, Mickey's of Glendale, Disney Studio Store Hollywood, and the Ink & Paint Marketplace.
On August 30, all attendees are invited to celebrate 25 years of "The Emperor's New Groove" at the D23 Kuzcotopia Night at Typhoon Lagoon. The following day, August 31, will feature the Disney '80s-'90s Celebration in Concert, where Broadway and Disney Animation stars will come together for a memorable performance.
Fans can also look forward to "The Walt Disney Archives: Charting the Course, Disney Global Stories & Inspirations," which will celebrate the various cultures worldwide that have inspired beloved Disney experiences. Highlights include Dwayne Johnson's Jungle Cruise costume, animation maquettes from "The Lion King" and "Mulan," and original puppets from EPCOT's Tapestry of Nations.
For those arriving in Orlando a few days early, additional events include D23 Nights at Disney Springs and a special throwback premiere of "A Goofy Movie" on August 28.
