Legendary electronic duo Daft Punk is making a virtual comeback in Fortnite this month through an innovative interactive tribute experience.
The Daft Punk Experience launches this Saturday, September 27 at 11 AM PST / 2 PM EST / 7 PM GMT—but this won't be your typical Fortnite concert event.
Given Daft Punk's disbandment, the experience focuses on creative interaction: players can remix classic tracks, produce Lego-style music videos, or simply enjoy digital dancing.
Epic Games clarifies no new music will premiere during the event. Their FAQ explicitly states: "Is Daft Punk reuniting? No. This experience celebrates their iconic catalog—the band remains disbanded."
As with previous collaborations, Fortnite will release purchasable in-game content including GM08 and TB3 character skins, musical instruments for Festival mode, and tracks like "Get Lucky."
This release follows Fortnite's launch of "Delulu," its new proximity-chat battle royale mode that's proving popular despite already triggering widespread account bans.
