Just after Kingdom Rush 5: Alliance arrived on Apple Arcade earlier this month, Ironhide Game Studio is already back with something new. Kingdom Rush Battles, the franchise's first multiplayer installment, has officially entered soft launch in the Philippines, Indonesia, Canada, and Uruguay.
Kingdom Rush Battles reinvents the series by focusing on PvP gameplay. You'll compete against other players in real-time 1v1 matches, constructing defenses while sending enemy waves to overwhelm your opponent. Every battle becomes a strategic back-and-forth requiring careful tower placement, perfectly timed spells, and just enough controlled chaos.
Players can access 18 towers from throughout the series, including everything from paladin knights to mad scientists, while combining 11 heroes and nine spells to create their ideal loadout. Real-time emotes let you taunt opponents or celebrate victories, and 30 tactical boosters allow you to alter the battlefield mid-match.
Battle arenas span classic forest and mountain settings to an exclusive PvP Stadium where top-ranked competitors battle for leaderboard dominance. You'll also face six challenging boss encounters and over 30 distinct enemies with unique abilities, demanding constantly evolving defense strategies.
Progression systems include daily and weekly missions, treasure-filled chests, and battle rewards. True to Ironhide's style, the game maintains the series' signature crisp artwork and humorous tone, now with the added excitement of competitive banter.
