Night Slashers makes a bloody comeback with its Android remake. Originally launched in 1993 by Data East, this cult classic beat 'em up returns with intensified violence. Developers Forever Entertainment and Storm Trident have faithfully preserved the original's essence while delivering a fresh experience.
Love Classic Arcade Brawlers?
The game plunges you into a horror-themed apocalyptic world teeming with zombies, mutants, werewolves, mummies, and even Dracula himself. Your mission? Punch Frankenstein's monster in the face to prevent global catastrophe. Players begin their journey controlling Christopher Smith through the first chaotic level.
The remake retains the original's arcade-style combat across seven stages divided into segments, with traditional left-to-right movement. Each level culminates in an epic boss battle against legendary horror villains. The game maintains its classic mechanic of forcing players to clear all enemies before progressing.
What's New in the Remake?
The enhanced combat system introduces fluid combo chains, aerial maneuvers, and devastating special attacks. Visual upgrades include realistic blood effects, dynamic lighting, and polished animations that retain the original's gritty charm.
True to its B-movie horror roots, the remake offers optional custom rules for added intensity - from corpse explosions to punishing time limits. Players can now enjoy four-player local co-op with a brand new character joining the original trio.
The free version includes the first level, while the full game unlocks additional characters, stages, and gameplay modifiers. Download it today from the Google Play Store.
