Nonogram Logic Puzzle App Marks 10 Years on Mobile

Authore: MatthewUpdate:May 27,2025

A decade ago, Picture Cross launched under the name World’s Biggest Picture Cross, with the ambition to become the premier nonogram app for mobile devices. Today, boasting over 10,000 puzzles, Picture Cross is commemorating its 10th anniversary by introducing new gameplay modes and adding even more puzzles to its vast collection.

Play the Game if You Haven’t Already

Picture Cross offers an extensive selection of puzzles, featuring various grid sizes and difficulty levels ranging from Easy to Expert. The gameplay remains true to the classic nonogram style, where players use numerical clues to fill in the correct squares, gradually unveiling stunning pixel art images.

Each puzzle solved unlocks themed packs and hidden poster scenes. With over 60 themed puzzle packs, players can dive into Motorsport for a hundred fast-paced challenges, or explore the cosmos with Moonshot, a space-themed set of 100 puzzles.

For those with a penchant for nostalgia, Mini Golf offers themed courses, while Rockstar caters to music enthusiasts. Sci-Fi Celebration will thrill fans of aliens and warp drives. Additionally, packs like Mythical Monsters, Fairy Tales, and Archaeology invite players to delve into different realms and eras.

For a more down-to-earth experience, try A Day At The Races or The Airport, each revealing a unique scene. The Pirates! pack offers a thrilling array of sea-bound puzzles. If you've conquered all these, the Encyclopedia of Picture Cross provides a remixed collection to keep the excitement alive.

Celebrate Picture Cross 10th Anniversary with New Routes and Modes

To mark this special occasion, Picture Cross introduces a Map View to help players plan their puzzle-solving journey. A new Tournament Mode is now available for those who enjoy competitive puzzling. The game also includes a comprehensive playing guide with solving strategies, catering to both classic and multi-color puzzles across all modes.

Pete Williamson, CEO of puzzling.com, the creators behind Picture Cross, expressed his joy over the game reaching its 10-year milestone. He extended a heartfelt thank you to the fans and hinted at more exciting updates coming in 2025 and beyond. You can download and explore Picture Cross from the Google Play Store.
