Sony has announced its PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup for August 2025, showcasing premium titles like Marvel's Spider-Man, Mortal Kombat 1, Resident Evil 2, and other exciting additions.
The complete list of games joining PlayStation's subscription service was unveiled today in an official PlayStation.Blog post. This month's selection offers everything from blockbuster AAA titles to indie discoveries, with Premium members also getting exclusive access to a five-hour Death Stranding 2: On the Beach trial.
The PlayStation Plus Game Catalog will welcome eleven new titles starting August 19. Extra and Premium subscribers can anticipate major releases including NetherRealm Studios' fighting game reboot Mortal Kombat 1 and Insomniac Games' acclaimed superhero adventure Marvel's Spider-Man - which makes its return after leaving the service in April 2023.
The diverse lineup also features Harold Halibut, Indika, Earth Defense Force 6, Unicorn Overlord, Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key, Coral Island, and Sword of the Sea - the latter launching directly into PlayStation Plus on release day.
Premium subscribers gain additional access to two PlayStation classics: Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, both playable on modern PlayStation consoles.
