In April, KEMCO released Metro Quester, a hack-and-slash dungeon crawler RPG. Now they're preparing to launch its sequel, Metro Quester | Osaka. As the name suggests, the post-apocalyptic setting shifts from Tokyo to Osaka.

The action relocates to Osaka, nicknamed "the city of water." Explore a transformed Japanese metropolis filled with destructible walls, monster nests, secret vaults, and food stockpiles. Players must collect Purification Fuel to progress while scavenging enough supplies to survive.
Metro Quester | Osaka features 32 unique characters across 8 distinct classes including Detonator, Buddhist, Professor, Stealer, Scientist, Mobile Police, Officer, and Ranger.
The combat system breaks from traditional turn-based mechanics. Players can queue up to three actions per turn using Action Points, though enemies share this capability and may interrupt turns. Strategic management of your Hate level becomes crucial as it determines enemy targeting behavior.
Between battles, explore environments for enemy-dropped gear or hidden equipment in vaults. Collected items can be upgraded, modified, or disassembled for crafting components.
The game introduces a grotesque bestiary featuring creatures like Beyond Inedible, Bloodsucker Bat, Viral Towering Roundleaf, Thorn Comber, Outburst Shroom, Abnormal Antlion, Caustic Flesh Wall, and Scavenger Mawshroom.

New additions include waterway navigation via canoe, fresh recruitable companions, and a prequel map detailing Osaka's transformation into this dungeon landscape.
The sequel introduces customizable starting parties alongside the returning NEW GAME+ mode, enhancing replayability. While controller support remains unavailable, the game offers English and Japanese language options.
Pre-orders are available on Google Play Store ahead of the July 31, 2025 release date.
