This awards event also marks the sixth anniversary of Sky: Children of the Light. Aviary Village will be revamped into a vibrant pre-show social space. Starting July 7th, players can enjoy swimming, dancing, and parade activities. An in-game cinema will offer round-the-clock streaming, including developer messages and exclusive behind-the-scenes content.
The awards ceremony itself will take place in the cinema, which can accommodate hundreds of players simultaneously. Scheduled for August 15th at 6 PM Pacific Time, thatgamecompany developers will present awards across ten categories.
Meet the nominees
In addition to the ten main categories, two major awards will be presented: the Sky Community Award and Content of the Year. Winners will have the chance to take the stage and address the live audience directly.
