With Best Buy no longer stocking physical media, this might be your last chance before this edition goes out of print permanently. As a '90s kid who grew up with TNG (originally aired 1987-1994 but dominated syndication throughout the decade), this series remains my undisputed favorite Star Trek incarnation. While DS9 and Strange New Worlds are excellent, and the original series deserves its legendary status, nothing beats Captain Picard's Enterprise crew for me. From Data to Worf to even Wesley Crusher, these characters remain iconic.
While Paramount+ offers all Star Trek content, I prefer owning physical copies that don't depend on subscription access or internet connectivity. This Blu-ray set guarantees permanent access to all 178 episodes across seven seasons - including those delightfully campy early seasons that hold a special nostalgic charm.
