This expansion builds upon previous content, offering exciting new ways to personalize gameplay. Players can now establish various businesses, including:

  • New Skill-Based Businesses: Tattoo parlors (requiring the new tattooing skill) and pottery studios (utilizing the new pottery skill). The tattooing skill features a "Tattoo Paint Mode" for creating unique designs. Pottery allows Sims to craft and sell various clay items.
  • Existing Pack Integration: Leveraging content from previous expansions and game packs, players can open pet cafes (Cats & Dogs), karaoke bars (City Living), dance clubs or arcades (Get Together), acting schools (Get Famous), bowling alleys (Bowling Night Stuff), spas (Spa Day), and laundromats (Laundry Day Stuff).

A novel Business Perk system adds strategic depth. Players can choose a business alignment:

  • Dreamer: Prioritizes customer satisfaction over profit.
  • Schemer: Focuses on maximizing profit, potentially at the expense of customer satisfaction.
  • Neutral: Strives for a balance between profit and customer happiness.

Each alignment unlocks unique interactions and gameplay opportunities.
