World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Turbulent Timeways Returns!
World of Warcraft players are in for a treat! The Turbulent Timeways event is back, offering a whopping seven weeks of Timewalking campaigns, running until February 24th. This extended event provides ample opportunities to earn exciting rewards, amass Timewarped Badges, and enjoy a significant experience boost.
This isn't your average Timewalking event. Building on the success of the September 2023 iteration, which featured five weeks of Timewalking, this expanded version offers even more. Players can earn the stackable Mastery of Timeways buff, granting a 20% experience bonus after completing four Timewalking dungeons.
The Grand Timewalking Tour:
The seven-week journey through WoW's history begins with Mists of Pandaria on January 7th and concludes with Cataclysm the week of February 18th. Each week features a different expansion's Timewalking content, including quests, dungeons, and raids.

- January 7-13: Mists of Pandaria
- January 14-20: Warlords of Draenor
- January 21-27: Legion
- January 28-February 3: Classic
- February 4-10: The Burning Crusade
- February 11-17: Wrath of the Lich King
- February 18-24: Cataclysm
Rewards Galore:
Achieve Mastery of Timeways for five out of the seven weeks to unlock the Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2 achievement and claim the coveted Timely Buzzbee mount! Timewalking vendors across all expansions boast new permanent items, including Season of Discovery transmogs at the Classic vendor. Additionally, the Sandy Shalewing pet, previously unavailable, is making a comeback. And, for the duration of the event, completing the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest rewards Heroic-level gear.
A Busy Start to 2025:
With the recent 20th-anniversary event's 11 weeks of Timewalking and the ongoing Plunderstorm event, players will have enjoyed 18 consecutive weeks of Timewalking by the time Turbulent Timeways concludes. The event's February 24th end date is particularly significant, hinting at the likely release of World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, Undermined, on February 25th. This aligns with Blizzard's typical release cadence and follows the holiday season. Combined with the second run of Plunderstorm and the upcoming major content update for The War Within, World of Warcraft is setting the stage for an action-packed start to 2025.
