Warframe, the acclaimed multiplayer action shooter RPG developed by Digital Extremes, made its debut on iOS in February 2024. Over a year later, the long-awaited Android pre-registration has officially opened—and the first closed beta test for Android is on the horizon. Yes, it’s finally happening!
What We Know About the Warframe Android Closed Beta
The big announcement dropped on Day 2 of TennoCon 2025, revealing that the closed beta is set to launch in Fall 2025. Much like the initial iOS beta, access will be granted via email invitations sent to the address linked to your Warframe account.
If you haven’t created an account yet, now’s the time. Head to the official Warframe website to sign up or pre-register for the mobile version.
Once you’re in, you’ll experience the full scope of Warframe on Android. The beta includes support for a wide range of controllers. Confirmed compatibility covers Bluetooth devices such as the DualSense and Xbox Wireless Controller, as well as USB-connected options like the Razer Kishi and Backbone One.
That said, there are a few limitations to keep in mind. Cross-platform play and voice chat will not be available during the beta phase. Additionally, the Android closed beta will be completely free of monetization—no in-game purchases.
Please note: all player progress made during the beta will be wiped once the testing period ends. No gear, levels, or unlocks will carry over to the official Android launch.
