Names can sometimes be misleading, which is why when Go Go Wolf! billed itself as an idle RPG, I was surprised to discover it actually plays more like a bullet heaven. This upcoming iOS and Android release has more in common with Vampire Survivors than AFK Journey.
In Go Go Wolf!, you play as Rang, a girl cursed by a magical tomato that transforms her into a wolf during every full moon. Thankfully, this hasn't dampened her spirits, as she now aims to become the world's greatest hero.
As you might guess, her werewolf transformation proves quite handy. While you primarily fight through enemy hordes with standard hack and slash combat, occasionally the moon rises, triggering your monstrous wolf form that significantly boosts your damage output.
Unleashing the BeastThe idle aspect of Go Go Wolf! follows the usual mechanics, allowing the game to progress even when you're not actively playing. Beyond that, it appears to be a polished, straightforward bullet heaven experience. You can customize both Rang's abilities and outfits to create your unique build and appearance.
