The Ayushman app, developed by the Government of India, is an essential tool for millions of citizens. This official mobile application is part of the Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY), a flagship initiative designed to provide cashless secondary and tertiary care treatment. This scheme covers over 10 crore poor and vulnerable families, ensuring they can access healthcare services from empanelled public and private hospitals without financial burden.

The National Health Authority (NHA) oversees the implementation of Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY, ensuring that the program runs smoothly and efficiently. With the Ayushman app, beneficiaries have the convenience of creating their "Ayushman card," which grants them access to free treatment up to INR 5 Lakhs.
