Application Description

Simulate the Golf Card Game

This is a simulation of the Golf game, played using a standard 52-card deck with 2 Jokers added. Each player receives 6 cards dealt face down. The remaining cards form a face-down stock pile, with the top card flipped over to start a face-up discard pile beside it.

The goal is for players to lower the total point value of their 6 cards. They do this by swapping cards for ones of lesser value or by pairing cards of equal rank in columns. The player with the lowest score wins the round, while the highest score loses. A full game consists of 9 rounds.

Starting to the dealer's left, players take turns drawing one card from either the stock or discard pile. The drawn card can be swapped with one of the player's 6 cards or immediately discarded. If swapped with a face-down card, the new card is placed face up. If the card is discarded, the turn ends. A round concludes once a player has all 6 cards face up.

The game plays 9 "holes" (rounds). The player with the lowest cumulative score across all rounds is the overall winner.
