What sets ChessCraft apart from other chess AI mobile games is its ability to let you create wildly imaginative boards and pieces, then immediately pit them against a capable computer opponent. Design new pieces using any mix of the 8 bishop or rook slides, and a 7x7 grid of knight-like hops. You can even add enhancements or restrictions to nearby pieces. Craft boards up to 16x16 with customizable tiles, set unique promotion rules, and incorporate special tile rules like witch windows (teleporters) and sanctuaries. The AI uses advanced concepts from computer science and graph theory to adapt to your creative designs and provide a challenging match.

When you're ready to show off your chess creations, sharing is easy. Each shared board gets its own unique web page, like this example: ChessCraft Design Page. Your friends can then play against the AI on your custom board, too.
