Summary

In 2017 A.D., Chaldea, an organization dedicated to observing Earth's future, confirmed that human history would face extinction in 2019. Suddenly, the future promised in 2017 vanished without a trace. Questions abound: Why? How? Who? And by what means?

In A.D. 2004, a previously unobservable region appeared in a provincial town in Japan. Believing this to be the root cause of humanity's impending doom, Chaldea initiated its sixth experiment: time travel to the past. Through a forbidden ceremony, humans were transformed into Spiritrons and sent back in time to intervene in events, locate, identify, and destroy space-time Singularities.
