The Xbox Games Showcase 2025 revealed Persona 4 Revival as a complete remake of the classic JRPG, coming to Xbox Series X|S, PC (via Xbox and Steam), Xbox Cloud Gaming, and PlayStation 5. The announcement trailer provided the first glimpse of the visual upgrades and redesigned environments of rural Inaba.The preview showed work-in-progress footage combining gameplay snippets with cinematic sequences featuring iconic locations. Viewers can recognize key areas like Yasogami High School classrooms, the Samegawa Riverbank, and the town's shopping district - all rendered with significant graphical improvements.
A particularly memorable moment depicts multiple vintage TVs assembling into the Midnight Channel gateway. Between the flickering screens, brief images appear showing the Dojima household and a mysterious hooded figure before all displays shift to a disturbing crimson hue with eerie spiral patterns.
