Halma, also known as Ugolki or куточки уголки, is a strategic board game played offline. This version boasts significantly improved artificial intelligence (AI), with completely new AI engines introduced in 2020 and 2021.
Originally invented in 1883 or 1884 by George Howard Monks, an American thoracic surgeon at Harvard Medical School, Halma draws inspiration from the English game Hoppity. Played on a checkered board, two players typically use black and white pieces, while four-player games utilize various colors. The objective is to move all your pieces from your starting corner to the opposite corner. Movement involves single steps to adjacent squares or sequential jumps over other pieces.
Key features include three AI difficulty levels, free gameplay, and three visually appealing board skins. The latest update (July 25, 2024) includes an updated SDK.
