It ensures your safety and keeps your family updated on your whereabouts. When you embark on any activity, simply check-in to let your loved ones know you're safe and sound.

Utilizing advanced GPS technology and customizable timers, Hibou enables you to engage in your favorite activities without concern. Whether you're climbing a mountain in your backyard, hitting the slopes for an afternoon of skiing, or embarking on a global adventure, Hibou is there to support you. Just activate the activity button in the app, set a timer for the duration of your activity (up to 24 hours), and proceed with confidence. Upon your safe return, end the timer. Should your timer run out before you're back, you can easily extend it with a single button press.

In situations where you're unable to seek help on your own, Hibou stands ready to assist. If your timer expires, notifications are automatically sent to your chosen contacts, alerting them that you're overdue and providing your last known location, ensuring help is dispatched promptly.

Hibou also offers a daily automated wellness check service, giving your loved ones peace of mind. At scheduled times once or twice a day, you'll report your status via the app, website, or phone system. If you miss a scheduled check-in, you'll receive reminders through app notifications, emails, and phone calls. After a grace period and further reminders, if you still haven't reported, your circle members will be notified of your missed check-in.

Additionally, Hibou features an emergency help button. By pressing this button, a notification along with your GPS location is immediately sent to your contact list. While calling 911 is crucial in emergencies, alerting your family and friends that you need assistance can often be the most effective solution.
