Let me reveal the true secret of Christmas: Santa Claus passed away centuries ago. In ancient times, as the Gods began to fade, he wed a goddess. She was worshipped as Bast in Egypt, Artemis in Greece, and Diana in Rome. History has called her a witch, a hero, and an assassin. You know her as Mrs. Claus.

In the Service of Mrs. Claus is an 188,000-word interactive fantasy thriller by Brian Rushton where your decisions drive the narrative. This fully text-based experience features no graphics or sound effects, relying entirely on the limitless power of your imagination.

When Santa died, Mrs. Claus imbued Christmas with his heart and buried it in a secure tomb beneath Claus Castle. Recently, however, someone stole the Heart. As her top secret agent—the most trusted elf—you must go undercover to recover the Heart and reclaim Christmas from the forces of darkness.

As you uncover the dark secrets of the Fae, conjure giant marshmallows and deadly candy canes, romance sweet allies and roguish villains, and compete with the mysterious Krinkle Corporation. In the final battles, decide whether to unleash your winter elf magic on the armies of darkness or join them in betraying your mistress.

• Become a shape-shifting elf who shifts freely between gender, species, and form.

1. Clash with cults, gods, and giant corporations aiming to overthrow Mrs. Claus's empire.
2. Use magic to complete secret missions as her top agent.
3. Visit earthly children to determine their naughty or nice status—and decide on presents.
4. Determine the fate of Christmas and the Fae world itself.

• Uncover the truth behind Santa's death.

1. Alliance with enemies or place them firmly on your naughty list.
2. Restore Mrs. Claus to power, betray her, or marry her.

Christmas is arriving. You'd better watch out.
