A Fish Eater is an animal that regularly preys on humans as part of its natural hunting behavior.

In the game, the player takes control of a female bull shark who must grow stronger and survive in a vast open world in order to seek vengeance against the fisherman who disfigured her as a pup and murdered her mother.

Dive into the ultimate power fantasy as the ocean’s apex predator — a terrifying SHARK! Maneater is a single-player, open-world action RPG where YOU are the shark. Hunt, explore, and evolve!

Players can uncover hidden landmarks and complete various side objectives. Each region features dangerous predators such as muskellunge, barracuda, alligators, sperm whales, orcas, and even other sharks. More importantly, each area has its own unique apex predator — larger and distinct from regular members of their species.

These elite predators include a giant barracuda, a shortfin mako, an American alligator, a great hammerhead, a great white, an orca, and an albino sperm whale. Defeating these powerful foes grants players special abilities and boosts.

The world reacts to your actions. As the shark causes more destruction, local authorities will send bounty hunters to track it down. If the shark manages to eliminate the lead hunters, new, more dangerous ones will eventually rise to take their place.

To grow stronger, the shark must hunt and consume aquatic wildlife such as fish and turtles to obtain essential nutrients — including proteins, fats, minerals, and rare mutagenics. Players can also attack humans by creating chaos along the coastline, destroying yachts and ships, and knocking people off jet skis.
