Microsoft has announced that eight games will be departing from its Xbox Game Pass subscription service on May 15, 2025. The exiting titles include Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Little Kitty, Big City, among others.

Xbox Game Pass is a premier online gaming service available on Xbox and PC platforms. Subscribers enjoy the ability to stream games directly on a variety of smart devices and consoles, access new games on their release day based on their subscription level, and explore a vast library of top-tier games with friends across different platforms. The following titles will be removed from the service:

Games leaving Xbox Game Pass in May are:

  • Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
  • Chants of Sennaar
  • Dune: Spice Wars
  • Hauntii
  • Jurassic World Evolution 2
  • Little Kitty, Big City
  • Planet of Lana
  • The Big Con

Microsoft is poised to reveal Wave 2 of the May 2025 Game Pass lineup shortly after these games leave the service.

In a recent development, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members have gained a new feature: the ability to stream select games directly to their consoles without downloading them. This was highlighted in a recent Xbox Wire post, which detailed that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can now stream games from the Game Pass catalog, as well as certain owned games, on Xbox Series X, S, and Xbox One consoles through cloud streaming. Previously, this functionality was available on smart TVs, PCs, smartphones, and Meta Quest headsets, but this marks its debut on consoles.

In other news, the much-anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 has been delayed until May 2026. For fans eager to revisit the GTA universe, GTA 5 Enhanced is now accessible on Xbox Game Pass and Game Pass for PC. Notably, this is the first instance of GTA 5 being offered on PC Game Pass, adding an extra layer of excitement for PC gamers.
