Year 1 Post-Launch Roadmap
With Assassin's Creed Shadows (AC Shadows) now available for over a month, developer Ubisoft continues to enhance the game through upcoming updates. On May 1, Ubisoft shared their Year 1 post-launch roadmap on Twitter (X), outlining fresh story and gameplay additions.
Notably, AC Shadows will introduce Story Drops – multiple free content updates. Ubisoft states these quests will "introduce new player abilities, allies, world activities, and provide deeper character backstories, each expanding the main game's narrative."
Additionally, the developers highlighted the first major expansion, The Claws of Awaji, arriving later this year. This DLC transports players to Awaji island – a completely new region to explore after the main story's conclusion. Expect new enemies, abilities for both protagonists, and an exclusive weapon for Naoe.
