Masumi Tsunoda as Naoe
Naoe, the protagonist of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, embarks on her journey after learning essential skills from her father to combat Oda Nobunaga’s invading forces. As she joins the Japanese Brotherhood of Assassins, Naoe's mission is to rid her land of evil with the help of new allies.
Masumi Tsunoda lends her voice to Naoe. While her voice-acting career is not extensive, Tsunoda has notable live-action credits, including roles in the action thriller Yakuza Princess and an appearance on NCIS: Hawaiʻi.
Tongayi Chirisa as Yasuke
Yasuke, initially aligned with Oda Nobunaga’s forces, soon realizes the harm his lord is causing and decides to join Naoe in her fight. As a skilled samurai, Yasuke becomes a crucial ally to the assassin.
Tongayi Chirisa voices Yasuke. Though his voice-acting experience is limited to Cheetor in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Chirisa has significant roles in The Jim Gaffigan Show and Mr. Bones 2: Back from the Past.

Mackenyu as Gennojo
Naoe and Yasuke need additional support to complete their mission, and they find it in Gennojo, a thief with a penchant for alcohol. Although he lacks the combat skills of his companions, Gennojo is eager to assist in any way he can.
Mackenyu brings Gennojo to life, known for his role as Roronora Zoro in the Netflix live-action series One Piece. He has also appeared in various notable Japanese projects.
Hiro Kanagawa as Oda Nobunaga
Oda Nobunaga is the central antagonist in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, believing his methods are the best for Japan. His aggressive expansion leads him to the Iga Province, where he faces resistance from the assassins.
Hiro Kanagawa provides the voice for Oda Nobunaga. With an impressive resume including roles in Shōgun, Smallville, and Legends of Tomorrow, Kanagawa also voiced Reed Richards in the video game Fantastic Four: World’s Greatest Heroes.
