The second part of Pokemon TCG Pocket's latest Wonder Pick event is now in full swing, running until February 21st. This exciting event introduces new Chimchar-themed accessories and a Poke Ball avatar icon, along with a set of missions designed to help you collect all these new goodies.
If you're a fan of Chimchar, this Wonder Pick event is a must-participate. You can now get your hands on a Chimchar-themed Pokemon coin, card sleeve, and playmat, showcasing Chimchar and its evolutions, Monferno and Infernape. While I personally find Chimchar charming, it doesn't quite make it into my top 100 Pokemon list. However, the new accessories are a great addition for any Chimchar enthusiast.
For those who aren't thrilled about flaming monkeys, the Poke Ball icon might catch your eye. While it's not the most exciting choice, it's a classic that might appeal to some as an avatar. I'll stick with my quirky knitted Electrode for now, waiting for something more thrilling to come along.
It's Monkey Business in Pokemon TCG Pocket
The missions for this event are straightforward and achievable. You need to complete six Wonder Picks and collect 10 Fire and Psychic-Type Pokemon to finish them. Each Wonder Pick rewards you with 100 Trade Tokens, while the other missions offer varying amounts of Event Shop Tickets. With determination and a good supply of Wonder Hourglass, you can quickly gather all the rewards.
If you missed the start of the event, don't worry—all the goodies from the first part are still up for grabs until February 21st. These include a Chimchar backdrop and cover, a Cave of Crystals backdrop, and promo cards featuring Chimchar and the adorable Togepi.
