Today, Crashlands 2 received a significant update to version 1.1 from its developers, Butterscotch Shenanigans. This update introduces features and challenges that fans of the original Crashlands have been eagerly awaiting. Let's dive into what's new in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1.
What’s in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?
The highlight of this update is the introduction of Legend Mode, offering a higher difficulty level than the existing Challenge Mode. In this mode, enemies on Woanope are not only quicker but also deal more damage and boast increased HP. Conversely, Flux Dabes has become more fragile. Completing Legend Mode won't unlock new achievements, but it does automatically grant all achievements from lower difficulties as a reward.
For players who prefer a more relaxed experience, Explorer Mode has been added. This mode significantly reduces combat intensity, allowing you to focus on farming mushrooms, building a cozy home, and fishing without the constant threat of danger. It's the perfect way to immerse yourself in the story, decorate your base, and interact with the game's unique characters.
One of the most requested features, The Compendium, makes a return. This feature tracks everything Flux discovers, helping you keep tabs on the number of pets, recipes, and items you need to collect to reach your goals.
Pets Also Got a Bit of an Upgrade
With Update 1.1, pets in Crashlands 2 now actively participate in combat. Each pet comes with a unique special ability that can be activated every 20 seconds, adding a new layer of strategy to battles.
Gear crafting has seen increased variety, with random bonus stats now applied to armor upon creation. Additionally, the update includes new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets to enhance your gameplay experience.
Numerous quality-of-life improvements are included in this update. Players can now build on a wider variety of terrain, customize the location of their home teleporter, and adjust the level of darkness at night, making the game more enjoyable and user-friendly.
Crashlands 2 is available on the Google Play Store. The game launched on April 10th, and this patch demonstrates Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to listening to player feedback and enhancing the game accordingly.
