Deadlock receives another surprise update from Valve, this time focusing on balance adjustments for four heroes and item tweaks. This marks the fifth update of 2025 and the first for February.
Calico suffered significant nerfs. Her "Return to Shadows" ability now has a ten-second longer cooldown, with 20% of its speed boost shifted to level 2. The damage of her level 2 "Leaping Slash" was also reduced.
Sinclair received visual enhancements with updated sounds and animations, and his "Rabbit Hex" ability has been transformed into an area-of-effect (AoE) attack. Holliday and Wraith also experienced nerfs, though specifics weren't detailed.
Item changes include a reduction in stacks for "Ammo Scavenger," removing its health bonus. "Extra Stamina" and "Restorative Shot" no longer boost fire rate and weapon damage, respectively.
