Sony highlights the Portal's convenience for households sharing a TV or for playing PS5 games in different rooms. The device connects to your PS5 via Wi-Fi, enabling a seamless transition between console and handheld play.
Improved Wi-Fi Connectivity:
Initial reports indicated suboptimal performance with Wi-Fi connectivity. However, Update 3.0.1 significantly improved this, enabling connections to 5GHz networks and resulting in more stable remote play, as confirmed by user feedback. A minimum 5Mbps broadband internet connection is still recommended. Get ready for a smoother, more portable PlayStation experience!
