Ghost of Yōtei follows the story of Atsu, set in the heart of Ezo (modern-day Hokkaido), on a relentless quest for vengeance against the notorious Yōtei Six. This group of outlaws, responsible for the death of her family, includes The Snake, The Oni, The Kitsune, The Spider, The Dragon, and Lord Saito. Atsu's journey to hunt down these villains one by one forms the core of the game's narrative.
This standalone sequel is set 300 years after the events of Ghost of Tsushima. The developers have enriched the game with new weapons, innovative mechanics, and more, building on the success of its predecessor.
