Official press materials reveal that MindsEye follows Jacob Diaz, a protagonist equipped with a neural implant—the MindsEye—that has severely impacted his memory, leaving him with fragmented flashbacks from his military service. His journey is a quest to uncover the truth behind his past, a mission that pits him against an AI-powered military force determined to stop him.

MindsEye has been in development for several years. Following his departure from Rockstar Games, Benzies established Build a Rocket Boy, collaborating with IO Interactive (Hitman developers) on this ambitious project. Described as a AAA action-adventure title, MindsEye will also integrate the Everywhere platform—a project previously compared to a "big-budget Roblox" following a studio visit in 2024.

While the new trailer omits mention of Everywhere, MindsEye promises an exhilarating action experience from a leading figure in the gaming industry. The game is slated for release sometime in Summer 2025.
