The White Wolf is making his final stand. Production for *The Witcher* Season 5 is officially underway, and fresh photos from the set featuring Liam Hemsworth as the iconic Geralt of Rivia have surfaced online. The newly released images—exclusively shared via the fan-favorite site Redanian Intelligence—show Hemsworth fully immersed in the role, complete with Geralt’s signature long blonde hair and battle-ready attire.
Alongside Hemsworth’s debut as the monster hunter, the leaked photos also feature familiar faces returning to the Continent. Meng’er Zhang reprises her role as the skilled archer Milva, while Joey Batey returns as the ever-charismatic bard Jaskier. Both characters were integral during the earlier seasons led by Henry Cavill, who portrayed Geralt until his departure in late 2022. Liam Hemsworth was officially announced as Cavill’s replacement for both Season 4 and the upcoming final season back in October 2022.

In addition to the returning cast, the set photos reveal some exciting new additions joining the saga. Among them is veteran actor Laurence Fishburne—best known for his roles in *The Matrix* and *Morbius*—who will portray Emiel Reigs, a character shrouded in mystery but expected to play a pivotal role in the series' conclusion.
Fans analyzing the latest leaks believe that *The Witcher* Season 5 may draw inspiration from Andrzej Sapkowski’s novel *Tower of the Swallow*, where Geralt encounters beekeepers who lead him toward the druids. However, since Season 4 has not yet been released, the direction of the plot remains uncertain. With so much narrative ground left to cover, viewers should expect plenty of twists, battles, and magical revelations before the story reaches its climax.
Cavill isn’t the only major cast change this series has seen. Kim Bodnia, who brought depth and warmth to Vesemir—Geralt’s mentor and father figure—will not be returning for Season 4 due to scheduling conflicts. As of now, Netflix has not revealed who will step into the role, nor has an official release date for Season 4 been confirmed. Fans will have to wait patiently as more details emerge ahead of the final chapter of this epic fantasy saga.
