Mythical Island Emblem Event Details
- Event Start: December 20, 2024
- Event End: January 10, 2025
- Event Type: Player-versus-Player (PvP)
- Objective: Accumulate PvP victories.
- Main Reward: Emblems (Participation, Bronze, Silver, Gold)
- Bonus Rewards: Pack Hourglasses and Shinedust
This 22-day PvP event challenges players to earn one of three Emblems (Bronze, Silver, Gold) by achieving 5, 25, or 45 wins respectively. A Participation Emblem is awarded for simply playing one match. Unlike previous events, consecutive wins aren't required; every victory counts towards your total, up to a maximum of 45.
Mythical Island Emblem Event Missions & Rewards
Three reward types are available: Emblems, Shinedust, and Pack Hourglasses. Emblems and Shinedust are earned through victories, while Hourglasses are given for participation. The total potential haul includes four Emblems, 24 Hourglasses, and 3,850 Shinedust.

Top Performing Decks for the Mythical Island Emblem Event
Given the event's timing shortly after the Mythical Island expansion, the meta remains relatively stable. Pikachu ex and Mewtwo ex decks continue to dominate. These are strong choices if you already possess them.
However, Gayadros ex decks have shown increased viability, particularly when paired with Vaporeon and Misty. Consider this alternative, supplemented with Lapras and supportive cards like Leaf, Sabrina, and Giovanni.
Strategies for the Mythical Island Emblem Event
To maximize your rewards:
- Assess your deck's win rate: Top decks average around 50% win rate. Reaching 45 wins might require approximately 90 matches (around four daily).
- Win limit: Event matches are unavailable after 45 wins. For the 50-win Shinedust reward, switch to regular PvP matches.
- Utilize Mew ex: Mew ex effectively counters meta cards like Mewtwo ex. Leverage its Genome Hacking ability if included in your deck.
