The Horizons Celebration event is back in Pokémon Go, and it's bringing a dazzling, smashing, and unmistakably pink newcomer: Tinkatink. From April 16th to 22nd, players can experience the debut of Tinkatink along with its evolutions, Tinkatuff and Tinkaton. These Pokémon come equipped with hammers that are more than just accessories; Tinkaton is famous for hurling rocks at Corviknight. To evolve your Tinkatink into Tinkaton, you'll need to gather about 125 Candy throughout the event.
Adding a unique twist to the event, Floragato will appear in a special costume, sporting a hat adorned with Liko's pin. You can encounter this costumed Floragato in the wild, hatching from Eggs, and participating in Raids, with the possibility of finding it in its Shiny form. Keep an eye out for other Pokémon like Pikachu wearing Cap's hat and Charcadet, who might also make an appearance.
A variety of Paldea favorites such as Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Pawmi will be roaming the wild. Additionally, seven km Eggs could hatch familiar faces like Hatenna and Elekid, with a chance to hatch Tinkatink as well. Don't miss out on the snapshot surprises, as Horizons characters and their Pokémon might photobomb your pictures.
On the battle front, Pikachu in Cap's hat will feature the special move Volt Tackle, and Raids will include a mix of Charizard, Metagross, Alolan Muk, and more Floragato. Bonus hunters will be thrilled to know that Team Go Rocket balloons will appear more frequently, Egg hatch distances are reduced by half, and both Shiny encounter rates and Stardust rewards are increased.
Engage in Field Research, and take advantage of both free and paid Timed Research opportunities, which offer extra rewards including an exclusive avatar pose. To maximize your event experience, consider purchasing the Celebration Event Ultra Ticket Box from the Pokémon Go Web Store for $4.99.
