Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's expansive world can initially feel overwhelming. Efficient traversal is key, and acquiring a horse is a significant advantage. This guide outlines two methods: reclaiming your original steed or acquiring a new one.
Reclaiming Pebbles
You can retrieve your starting horse, Pebbles, from the horse trader in Semine (south). However, this isn't a simple transaction. You'll need to either pay Groschen, or utilize persuasion/intimidation skills. Improving Henry's attire to appear more noble can significantly aid persuasion, potentially securing Pebbles without financial outlay (though this may impact your reputation). If persuasion fails, prepare to pay.
Stealing a Horse
Alternatively, you can steal a horse. Wild horses are rare; instead, target farms or stables. One reliable location is the fisherman's farmhouse near Vidlak Pond (west). Two horses are readily available for the taking.
After stealing a horse, consider visiting the horse trainer at the Nomads' Camp (east of Vidlak Pond) to learn saddling and taming techniques. While paying the trainer is recommended, riding the horse unsaddled is also feasible.
