Where Winds Meet, the highly anticipated open-world Wuxia action-adventure from Everstone Studios, will be a PlayStation 5 console exclusive for a minimum of six months.
The confirmation comes from a new video on the PlayStation YouTube channel (a multiplatform version of this trailer is included below). In addition to hinting at the game's storyline, the teaser's conclusion clarified that Where Winds Meet will be a PS5 console exclusive for "at least six months." The game is also slated for release on mobile and PC.

As for the release date, we currently have nothing more specific than a general "coming 2025." However, publisher NetEase has announced that the final test will begin on July 25 for PC and PS5, introducing a brand-new urban area, Kaifeng, which was not available in earlier versions. Interested players can participate via the official registration link. While no pre-order bonuses have been announced yet, players are encouraged to add the game to their wishlists starting today.
Where Winds Meet initially launched on PC in China at the end of 2024, with a mobile version following in 2025. Set during the Ten Kingdoms Era amid clashes between rival dynasties, the game casts players as a swordsman whose decisions will significantly impact the unfolding conflict. The game draws deep inspiration from Wuxia, a Chinese fiction genre featuring ancient warriors endowed with superhuman abilities.
In a Where Winds Meet preview from August 2023, we had the chance to go hands-on, experiencing its unique blend of Zelda and The Witcher-inspired gameplay alongside an impressively vast array of systems, choices, and potential outcomes.
As for Sony, the company aims to replicate the blockbuster success of Black Myth: Wukong, which is set to launch on Xbox Series X and S this August, a full year after its debut on PC and PS5.
