The NHS App offers a seamless and secure method to access a wide range of NHS services directly from your smartphone or tablet. Available to users aged 13 and above, you must be registered with an NHS GP surgery in England or the Isle of Man to utilize the app's features. Additionally, you can log in through the NHS website on a computer to enjoy the same services.

Access NHS Services

With the NHS App, you can conveniently access NHS services anytime and anywhere. Key functionalities include requesting repeat prescriptions, using 111 online for non-emergency health advice, locating nearby NHS services, and more. Depending on your GP surgery, you may also be able to book appointments and discuss health concerns directly with your surgery.

Manage Your Health

The NHS App provides a user-friendly platform to view your GP health record, which includes access to your test results. It allows you to manage upcoming appointments and handle prescription requests effortlessly. Additionally, you can make critical health decisions, such as registering your organ donation preferences.

Receive Messages

Stay informed with important communications from your GP surgery and other NHS services through the app. Enabling notifications ensures you are promptly alerted to any new messages, keeping you connected with your healthcare providers.

Manage Services for Other People

The NHS App also enables you to switch profiles and manage services for others, such as a child or family member. This feature requires your GP surgery to grant access, and both parties must be registered at the same surgery.

Log in Securely

If you don't already have one, the NHS App will guide you through the process of setting up an NHS login. You'll need to verify your identity, after which the app will securely connect to your NHS service information. For added convenience, if your Android device supports it, you can use fingerprint, face, or iris recognition to log in each time you access the app.
