A free vector painting application for creating Scalable Vector Graphics.

SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is the W3C standard for vector-based imagery. Unlike bitmap images composed of fixed pixels, vector graphics are built from defined shapes and their properties. The key advantage of SVG is its scalability—enlarging the image preserves all details without quality loss.

PainterSVG is an editor designed for SVG images, offering these capabilities:

- Create and modify shapes including lines, circles, rectangles, and more

- Create and edit paths with support for straight, cubic, and quadratic lines—easily drag endpoints and control points to adjust the path

- Intuitive controls for defining stroke and fill properties for all shapes and paths

- Apply solid color fills, linear gradients, or radial gradients to any shape

- Simple selection tools for selecting/deselecting elements, dragging to move, resize, or rotate

- Easy zoom in and out functionality

- Convenient grouping and ungrouping of elements

- Read from and write to external SVG files

- Export to PNG files (with transparency) or JPG files (with white background)
