Application Description

This app lets you play ".tja" files from the PC game "Taiko no Tatsujin 2" on your Android device. Due to the wide variety of Android devices, we can't guarantee compatibility on all models. We apologize, but we don't provide support for devices that fail to launch. We also don't offer assistance with obtaining ".tja" files or skins.

Adding Songs:

Upon first launch, a "TJA" folder is created in your device's root storage or SD card. Place your ".tja" files within genre folders inside the "TJA" folder. If a genre.ini file is missing, the genre will default to "Uncategorized." High score saving may not function on Android 4.4 and later versions. Version 1.4.4 adds a "record location" setting to address this.

Adding Skins:

Skins are compatible with (but not fully implemented for) "Taiko no Tatsujin 2" skin data. Skins from the original "Taiko no Tatsujin" are not supported. Refer to theme-default/default.csv for skin file information. Performance may vary depending on your device and the skin data used.

genre.ini Contents:

To be recognized as a genre folder, include a genre.ini file with the following format:

Due to Android security updates, access is now limited to app-specific folders. If you've updated, please manually move your "/TJA" folder to "Android/data/com.daijiro.taiko2/files/TJA" using a file manager.

It's great to play Taiko no Tatsujin on my phone, but the compatibility issues are frustrating. It works well on my device, but I've heard it's hit or miss on others. More support would be appreciated.

Es genial poder jugar Taiko no Tatsujin en mi teléfono, pero los problemas de compatibilidad son frustrantes. Funciona bien en mi dispositivo, pero he oído que en otros no. Se agradecería más soporte.

C'est super de pouvoir jouer à Taiko no Tatsujin sur mon téléphone, mais les problèmes de compatibilité sont frustrants. Ça fonctionne bien sur mon appareil, mais j'ai entendu dire que c'est aléatoire sur d'autres. Plus de support serait apprécié.
